One Day in Denver

Air Ball Creative: Profile Spotlights

Breathless from Air Ball Creative on Vimeo.

One Day in Denver has been out exploring the town, learning about incredible organizations working magic around the city, and meeting people right here on our site and Facebook page who are readying to share with all of you their thoughts and passions.  Not only is the groundswell of interest building, but so is the excitement for what will occur here on April 26th.

My name is Kristin, and I am your local Denver producer working with One Day on Earth to help you bring your thoughts for the future of our city, to the people of Denver.

And, when I think of Denver, it is hard not to think of its beauty.  Our ambassadors, Thaddeus Anderson and Woody Roseland at Air Ball Creative have been garnering attention all over town (and beyond) for their work capturing Denver in a manner that harnesses the power of film.  Take a few minutes to immerse in their video and welcome them to the Project.  You can visit Air Ball Creative at their website: http://www.airballcreative.com/

1. Who are you and what is your profession?
At the core, we’re an idea company. We use any combination of film, poetry, organic sounds and music to immerse the audience in said idea.

2. Can you tell us a little about your background and upbringing?
As kids, we both had rich imaginations but didn’t grow up in environments that allowed us to express that. Our ability to be creative was limited until we started our company. Air Ball has given us an incredible canvas to foster our imagination.

3. What inspired you to become a filmmaker?
In short, the ability to let creativity run wild. There are no rules in getting an audience to hop on board with an idea.

4. Who or what do you most admire?
Great communicators. A great thought, company, organization, etc, is only recognized as great if it is communicated well.

5. What do you love about Denver?
The people. The mountains and sunshine are what bring people to Denver, but the people are what make people fall in love with it.

6. What do you fear most for Denver?
Californians.

7. What do you hope for Denver in the next 20 years?
Denver has flown under the radar for most of it’s existence. Moving forward, I’d love to see the Queen City of the Plains gain recognition for all it’s bringing to the table.
